Combining the Best

Composite doors offer a modern approach to front door design, combining a selection of high quality materials to bring the best of each one. This includes the combination of timber, uPVC and Glass Reinforced Plastic to capture a door build that excels in performance, appearance and design. They are sure to be the ideal new addition to any home.

The composite door is a stylish alternative to a traditional wooden door. Featuring the look of conventional timber, the composite door benefits from the low maintenance and high security of a modern uPVC door. With elegant glazing details, vibrant colours and many available furniture options, our composite doors can be easily tailored, we even have a PAS 24-certified variety of new builds. Apart from Hampshire we also offer composite door installation services in Poole, Weymouth, Salisbury, Winchester, Portsmouth, Southampton, and surrounding areas.

Features & Benefits

Frame Options

The composite door is available in a chamfered profile and comes with a large frame as standard. The large face of the frame is 80mm wide and the depth of the frame is 70mm.

The standard uPVC threshold frame is 80mm high and a low uPVC threshold is 65mm. A low aluminum threshold can be used with both profiles, which has severe weather rating and being document M compliant means it is suitable for new build disabled access requirements.

Side panels can also be incorporated with options for them to be a composite panel to match the door or glazed in a numerous different ways to suit your customer’s requirements.

Hardware Options

Our stylish lever/lever handles are available in white, gold, satin silver, chrome and black, with lever/movable pad handles available in the same colours. The hinges are available in White, Gold, Black, and Chrome.

The standard security lock we use has hooks, compression points and a centre latch and deadbolt with an option to add additional shoot bolts and hinge protectors.

For a modern twist uses the Town House lock with a pull handle or a Latch Pull for a more traditional look.

The standard key cylinder can also be changed for a thumb turn, which is available in silver and brass.

Security

While the standard composite door lock is highly secure, there is also an option for a PAS24 door for any new build projects.

Stylish Colourways

Frame colour options include white, light oak, rosewood, anthracite grey, slate grey, black brown with all colours available both sides or white on the inside.

The composite door sash is available in numerous styles and colours as shown below.

Energy Rating

Due to the energy efficient materials used in the makeup of the composite doors, the overall ‘u’ values that they achieve range from 1.2 to 1.8 depending on the style and glazing chosen.

Accessories

An extensive range of accessories is available to complete your door installation requirements. These include 85mm, 150mm and 180mm cills, 15mm, 25mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 65mm, 75mm and 100mm frame extensions.

For doors with sidelights there is a 10mm joiner. Choose from our large selection of uPVC decorative door panels to complete the look.

To finish off your door choose from traditional urn knockers, slim urn knockers, and spy holes available in white, black, chrome and silver.

Thermally Efficient

To help keep the home warm and comfortable throughout the colder winter months, our composite doors achieve a standard of thermal efficiency that is 19% more effective than a timber composite door, and 17% more thermally efficient than the traditional timber panelled door. This means that you’ll be able to offer a heightened degree of comfort throughout the year.

Composite Doors

Highly Secure

All of our composite doors use a five-point locking system (2 hooks, 3 deadbolts) and an anti-snap, bump and drill cylinder to protect the home from modern burglary techniques. When this factor is combined with the inherent robustness and rigidity of composite doors, we are able to supply a standard that is Secured by Design accredited.
